We were fortunate to visit the Himalayan Mountain Kingdom of Bhutan in the fall. It was one of the most memorable of many trips around the globe. In part it was through the efforts of our excellent guide Namgay Dorji of Bhutan Majestic Travel. His knowledge of every aspect of Bhutanese life from history, religion, the people, customs, culture and Bhutanese cuisine was so informative. We enjoyed the colorful national and religious festivals which re such a great part of Bhutanese life. Amidst the breathtaking, majestic scenery, Namgay introduced us to the exotic flora and fauna.
